Burrumbuttock Hay Run

One of Luxton Plant’s preferred suppliers, Rob O’Halloran of Southern Road Trains, participated in the Burrumbuttock Hay Run conducted in January to relieve Western Queensland’s drought stricken graziers.

Rob was part of a convoy of 120 trucks that travelled over 1800 kilometers to the North, delivering almost 5000 bales of desperately needed hay to 270 of the most affected farmers. The convoy included an entourage of 250 people including the drivers, support crews, mechanics and auto electrician. They were greeted with tears and heartfelt thanks when they completed their epic journey into Western Queensland. This fantastic effort was organized by the Burrumbuttock Hay Runners founder, Brendan Farrell and all the participants donated their time and resources to help people in need. Congratulations to Rob and all the participants for their legendary efforts to support a community that is suffering great hardship.
